No buyers in Ishwardi Banarasi Palli

Even during the Eid season, there is a drought situation in Ishwardi Banarasi Palli as there are no buyers. Almost all the shops in Palli area are empty of customers. The weavers also spend the day sitting. The shopkeepers are spending idle time. Some people are watching videos on their mobile phones, while others are telling stories. Staying there from Monday morning to 12 noon, it was found that there was no significant sale in any of the shops. In this situation, the loom owners and traders have expressed their disappointment. Eid shopping has not started even though fifteen days of fasting have passed.
Traders say that during the month of Ramzan, the most sales are in Banarasi village. Buyers are not going towards this market due to the increase in daily necessities this time. It was hoped that at the beginning of the month, when the salary and bonus entered the pockets of the buyers, some purchases would increase. But even after seven days of the beginning of the month, there is no sale.
The second largest Banarasi parish in the country is in Ishwardi. The quality of Banarasi-Katan sarees produced in Iswardi Banarasi Palli is much better than the sarees of famous Indian expensive brands. Here net katan, pure katan, opera katan, kuchi jamdani are being made here, along with Bindia katan, pure banarsi sarees with special craftsmanship, anarkali and phulkali. The excitement that Ishwardi was supposed to bring back to Banarasi village ahead of Eid did not come. Other times, the artisans were busy making sarees day and night, but this time they have to spend time lying down.
Ahead of Eid, weavers have started some factories with loans from various associations and banks. The dream was to turn around. But will the dream remain unfulfilled is the question of all concerned. Nasim, the owner of the factory and the owner of Nasim Saree Cottage, said that I am not getting any ideas about how to overcome the recession. None of us could have imagined such a drought situation in Eid sales.
Shariful Alam, manager of Zaman Textiles, said that there are 2 artisans of making Benarsi in Fateh Mohammadpur. There are 30 looms in two factories. I can’t get the saree order. People’s economic condition is not good. Daily shopping has become difficult. Weaver Javed Benarsi said that due to the reputation and demand of Ishwardi Benarsi, several saree shops have been established in Fateh Mohammadpur area. But this time the situation is difficult. Due to online Indian saree shopping we don’t have customers.
Khandkar Obaidur Rahman Jilani, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Benarsi village, said that the quality, beauty, color, design or design of the sarees produced in Ishwardi are much better than other countries. So there is a demand for Banarsi and Katan here.
