Jewellers cut gold prices by 2pc

Jewellers today cut gold prices thanks to a cut in rates of pure gold in the local market, according to a press release of Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (Bajus).
From tomorrow, buyers will be able purchase 22-carat gold at Tk 97,161 each bhori, down by 2 per cent from the historic high of Tk 99,144.
On April 2, Bajus hiked prices of gold for the last time.
