Adulterated cow food seized , destroyed

About 6 tons of adulterated cow feed was seized from Baghabari solvent oil mill in Shahzadpur upazila of Sirajganj on Thursday. Thoses were thrown into Baghabari Baral river.
Factory manager Suman (33) and adulterated cow food owner Ershad Molla, son of Akkas Molla of Baghabari village, were fined one lakh taka in the mobile court.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Liaquat Salman Conducted the mobile court. Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Billal Hossain and Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman were present at this time.
Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Billal Hossain said that some unscrupulous businessmen have been making and marketing adulterated feed for livestock without approval for a long time in Solvent Wellmill factory on the south bank of Baghabari ghat in the upazila.
