Fahad earns creditable draw

International Master (IM) Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh (rating-2396) earned creditable draw against his Poland’s rival Grandmaster Bartosz Sokco (rating-2601) in the seventh round game of the Fagernes Chess International now being held in Oslo, Norway, said a press release on Saturday. The seventh round games were held on Friday last with IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman played with white pieces against Queen’s Indian defense of Bartosz Sokco, and the game eventually ended in a draw after 23 moves. IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman earned 4.5 points out of seven games.
