Fire DG said that there are several dangerous markets in the capital. We will start the survey from today in Rajdhani Super Market and Gauchia Market among others.
In these markets, as per BMDC court, the arrangements for entry or exit and fire fighting will be checked. This survey will be conducted with the owners of these markets and the next steps will be informed.
When we conduct a survey in a market, the owners of that market, committee leaders and media workers will also be kept with us, said fire DG.
Describing the update of the burnt spot, fire DG said that at least 12 units of fire service are still working to extinguish the fire in Bangabazar.
There are godowns on the 5th and 6th floors of Annexco Tower. There are still occasional fires. Firemen are working there, he added.
