Rain with squally wind likely at some places

Rain or thundershower accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur in some parts of the country, a met release said on Monday.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions”, said the weather forecast valid for the next 24 hours from 9 on Monday morning.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it added, reports BSS.
Day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 33.4 degrees Celsius jointly at Jashore and Chuadanga while the minimum temperature was 16.1 degrees Celsius at tetulia.
Country’s highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am on Monday was recorded 37 millimeters (mm) at Chattogram.
