Humanitarian aid, iftar items distributed in dists

The Humanitarian Assistance Program Project among flood affected families in Osmaninagar and Balaganj of Sylhet has been successfully completed recently.
The programme was held at SOS Shishu Palli in Dayamir of Osmaninagar Upazila, a project closing ceremony by the administration and the beneficiaries.
Osmaninagar UNO Neelima Raihana was present as the chief guest. Director of SOS Shishu Palli Sylhet Mohammad Yusuf Ali Presided over this Programme.
Women Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Jahanara Begum, Upazila Poverty Alleviation Officer Shafiqul Islam, ERP Project Coordinator Chandan Saha, Sylhet Bureau Chief of The New Nation SA Shofiee, Vice President of Osmaninagar Press Club Abdul Matin, General Secretary Anwar Hossain Ana, SOS SWC Center Incharge Tanveer Ahmed also Present here.
Dignitaries of Osmaninagar Upazila, all the co-workers of SOS Shishu Palli Sylhet and 60 beneficiaries of the project were present in the event.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to SOS Shishu Palli Sylhet for their support in this dire moment.
The invited guests highly appreciated the work of SOS and promised to support SOS in any good work.
Through this project, each family pays five thousand rupees for food security and a total of 2,500 families get this benefit through bank accounts. 200 families come under this facility through a bank account by paying nineteen thousand rupees for shelter home renovation/repair. 190 families received Tk 21,300 per family for support in livelihood (livestock, small business, agricultural implements etc.) through this project. 2 thousand 4 hundred and 40 families of 03 unions are benefited through this project.
Not only that, 2000 families who received Tk 5 thousand for food security received 01 hygiene kit containing 02 buckets of 20 liters and 10 liters with lids, 01 mugs, 2 packets of sanitary pads, 06 pieces of laundry soap and 06 pieces of bathing soap.
Feni Correspondent adds: Iftar items were distributed among the disabled and poor in Feni municipal square organised by basi Forum in Saudi Arabia on Saturday .
Feni Municipality Mayor Md Nazrul Islam Swapan Miyaji was the chief guest in the event held under the chairmanship of Md Nurul Anwar, Founder President and Organizer of Feni Probasi Forum in Saudi Arabia.
Among others, Feni Samaj Seva Office Deputy Director Saiful Islam Chowdhury, District Jubo League General Secretary Riaz Aziz Chowdhury Rajib, Forum Patron Zia Uddin Bablu, Patron Abdul Mohit Apollo, Associate Organizing Secretary Md Alamgir Hossain, Forum Executive Member Imam Hossain Salim, Journalist Abu Taher Bhuiyan, Pravasi Forum, district correspondent of Dainik Bhorer Patar NN Jiban, journalist M Arifur Rahman, Chhatra League leader Noman Habib, Feni municipality representative Dulal Talukder, district coordinator Imam Hossain Shawon conducted the program, besides many expatriates of the organization were present.
