Six directives for consumers to save electricity in Ramzan

The Power division has urged consumers to be reasonable in electricity consumption as the Ramzan, summer, and irrigation season are at the same time. Therefore, 6 instructions have been given to customers to save electricity in this period.
According to a circular of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Saturday, the government is working tirelessly to deliver uninterrupted electricity to consumers.
Directives to follow to save electricity-
1. Using energy-efficient equipment to prevent wastage of electricity.
2. Keeping AC temperature at 25 degrees Celsius in mosques, shopping malls and other commercial establishments during Iftar and Tarawih.
3. Stopping the use of electric bill boards, re-rolling mills, welding machines, ovens and irons during peak hours.
4. Running irrigation pumps during off-peak hours from 11 pm to 9 am.
5. Keeping CNG pumps closed from 5 pm to 11 pm.
6. Avoiding illegal charging of easy bikes, and auto rickshaws.
