Viqarunnisa student Arithree’s death warrant against 2 teachers

A Dhaka court issued arrest warrant against two teachers of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in a case filed on the charge of provoking ninth-grade student Aritree to commit suicide.
Dhaka’s Metropolitan Additional Sessions Judge-2 Abdullah Al Mamun passed the order on Tuesday.
Assistant of the court Md Himel confirmed the information to the media on Thursday.
Aritree Adhikari, a Class-IX student, allegedly committed suicide at their Shantinagar residence in the city on December 3 of 2018 after reportedly being rebuked by teachers for using mobile phone during examination.
Later, the victim’s father filed a case with Paltan Police Station in the capital.
