Mistake about Aruna Biswas and Apu Biswas

Many think Aruna Biswas, noted actress, film director and member of the Censor Board
of Bangladesh, and popular actress Apu Biswas are members of the same family. Aruna and Apu prior faced the question whether they are from the same family? They are two
sisters or not? To answer this question, a chat was organised with Aruna Biswas and Apu Biswas last Wednesday night
at a coffee shop in the capital’s Bashundhara residential area. Aruna and Apu participated
in this kind of event for
the first time.
Aruna Biswas said, “It is true that many people think that we are from the same family, many people think that Apu Biswas is my younger sister. But actually it is not. But yes, it is true that we are a film family. Our relationship is excellent. Today’s Apu is more matured than the previous Apu. Apu Biswas now does everything very wisely.
I love her so much and always bless her to be well, healthy and raise her child like a human being. And my first directed movie ‘Osombhob’ will be released on June 2. That’s why we want everyone’s cooperation, the audience should go and enjoy the movie in the hall.”
Apu Biswas shared her feelings by this way, “I worked with Aruna Didi for the first time in the movie ‘Chachchu’ directed by respected FI Manik Bhai. After that I got the opportunity to work together in many more movies. I always have
infinite respect and love for Didi. Yes, I have also had to
face the question in many places whether we belong to
the same family. Although not of the same family we are soul mates. Didi loves me very much; this love from a talented actress like her is a great achievement in life.”
Apu Biswas also said her
produced movie ‘Lal Saree,’ which is produced with the government grant, will be
submitted to Censor Board soon. Symon Sadik is opposite Apu Biswas in this movie.
Apu Biswas starrer movie ‘Prem Preeti Bondhon’ has already been enjoyed by
the Censor Board members.
