Rain likely at some places

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted light rain or thundershowers at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet division in the next 24 hours commencing at 6:00am on Saturday.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said the BMD bulletin.
The Met office also predicted that day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, reports BSS.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 34.8 degree Celsius at Jashore, while Saturday’s minimum temperature was 17.2 degree Celsius in Srimangal.
Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am on Saturday was recorded 19 millimeters (mm) at Dhaka.
