Shaukat Mahmood expelled from BNP

BNP Vice-Chairman Shaukat Mahmood has been expelled from the party.
A party press release signed by Taiful Islam Tipu, Assistant Office Secretary of the BNP said it on Tuesday.
Shaukat Mahmood is the former President and General Secretary of the National Press Club. Shaukat Mahmood has been expelled from all posts and his primary membership of the party, said the press release.
It said that the party Standing Committee decided to expel him on charge of his involvement in activities that violated party discipline.
