Pro-BNP lawyers protest one-sided vote in SCBA

The pro-BNP lawyers of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Monday brought out a black-flag procession protesting the one-sided voting in the recent past election (of SCBA), police attacks on the lawyers and journalists, and false cases against the lawyers.
They also demanded resignation of the Law Minister and the Attorney General alleging that they were the instructors of police attacks on the lawyers and journalists during the SCBA election.
This procession of lawyers, which started from the Supreme Court premises, also circumambulated the road adjacent to the Supreme Court. And finally it ends with a rally in front of the main gate of the National Eidgah.
Central President of the Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum Senior Advocate AJ Mohammad Ali, Secretary General of the organization Barrister Kayser Kamal, President candidate of SCBA election from BNP-backed panel Senior Advocate AM Mahbub Uddin Khokan, Secretary candidate Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kazal, among others, were present in the procession and rally.
In the rally the lawyers demanded a fresh election for the SCBA and also demanded resignation of the Law Minister and the Attorney General alleging that they were the instructors of police attacks on the lawyers and journalists during the SCBA election.
