Juvenile gang culture

The lack of proper mental development of adolescents, absence of right supervision by parents at the time of inevitable changes happen in them, deficiency of getting quality time, indifference, failure of practicing patternedsocial values and norms, etc.- are the main reasons why 14 to 18-year-old adolescents in the country are immersed in juvenile crime.
The negative effects of globalization and rapid urbanization, misconceptions about friendship and juvenile subculture also play a major role in the unbridled arrogance and gang culture of emerging teenagers. To overcome such an undesirable situation, allocation of quality time by the parents, maintenance of existing social and family values by the kids, and inculcation of the human qualities in the adolescents are imperative.
Parents are the first and foremost institution for their children. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the intensive care and attention of the parents behind the worthy upbringing of the children. It is necessary to keep the children in the mainstream of society by creating strong social bonds through the exercise of friendly relations and by bridging the parental gap between parents and children. At the same time, it is very substantial to keep the growing children always involved in constructive and intellectually creative activities.

No alternative to
technical education

Bangladesh has achieved the status of a developing country. But the country has not yet recovered from the scourge of unemployment. Although various programmes have been taken at different times to alleviate unemployment, they are not being implemented properly due to lack of resources and skills. If we can move the large population of about 49 percent of the young generation towards technical and technological education, then we will be able to transform this large population into human resources.
In order to eliminate our unemployment and continue our long-term development in the future, the government must place more emphasis on work-oriented technology.
