Anonno Mamun’s movie ‘Radio’ released in seven theatres

On the occasion of the
birthday of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Anonno Mamun’s movie titled ‘Radio,’ which story is based on the historic March 7 Speech of Bangabandhu, was released in seven theaters on Friday, March 17, said a press release.
The seven cinema halls are: Star Cineplex (Bashundhara City), Blockbuster Cinemas (Jamuna Future Park), Lion Cinemas (Old Dhaka), Ulka (Gazipur), Roots Cineclub (Sirajganj), Madhuban (Bogra) and Silver Screen (Chattogram).
While talking about releasing the movie, director Anonno Mamun earlier said, “March 7 is a very important day
and the effects that Bangabandhu’s speech had
on the citizens of the country is monumental. The story showcases how his speech affected the people of the
country and the sacrifices they made to achieve
freedom.” The movie
features Riaz, Zakia Bari Mamo, Elina Shammi, Lutfur Rahman George, Nader Chowdhury, Pran Ray, among others, in pivotal roles.
