Functional committee formed, training held

The formation of executive committee and tailor training of non-governmental Chalanbeel Dustha Mahila Sanstha (CDMS) was held in Tarash of Sirajganj on Tuesday .
The organization’s President, Mst: Jahanara Khatun, formed the executive committee of the organization at his office in Khan Para of the upazila. It is known that Jahanara Khatun served as president for 25 years. Currently, she has given up the role of president due to age. According to the decision of the members of the general assembly, Parul Khatun was formed as the president and the working committee consisted of 11 members. Later, a 15-day tailoring training was inaugurated with 20 members funded by the Bangladesh National Women’s Welfare Council and implemented by Chalanbeel Dustha Mahila Sanstha (CDMS).
This was inaugurated by the joint convenor of the Upazila Press Club, Daily the New Nation.
