Science Fair in Chattogram

Nation should proceeds with scientific knowledge and technology should be used to build-up an environment friendly, safe, modern, and smart city life. Mohammed Munir Chowdhury, Director General (DG), National Science and Technology Meseum, told this when speaking to the student at the day-long science fair at the premises of Hilview Public School in Chattogram on Saturday.
The DG told to the students, “Government has taken diversified programme to make learners scientific”. He also said, “Where drone technology is used to detect offenders, to monitor the movement of Shark in the Sea beach, thus technology should be used to go ahead furthers. Teachers have to work hard for success of scientific education. In spite providing enough scientific instruments in educational institutions, high salary & parks yet the negligence of teachers to perform is very much unfortunate. Teachers should work hard with strong vision. However, whatever high the technology is, without ethics or morality achievements will be blurred or meaningless. So any scientific vision should be rendered with morality”.
The event was chaired by Lion Shafiqul Islam, president, school Managing Committee. In the fair 16 new scientific projects was presented. The chief guest move around the Fair to encourage the participants. In the event, Sakila Sultana, deputy police commissioners (City), Pradip Kumar Sarker, Executive Engineer, Education Engineering Department, Md Nurul Islam, Head Teacher spoke among the others.
