BNP involves conspiracy with its foreign lords: AL

Ruling Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday alleged that the opposition BNP has involvement with its foreign lords against the country.
“The BNP want to grab the state power by forging conspiracy like its previous history. They have involved in fresh plots against the country with their lords- the foreign diplomats and international quarters,” the AL General Secretary also the Roads and Bridges Minister told it in a statement.
“All the people know that the BNP had taken money from the Pakistani secret agency during the national polls in 1991,” Obaidul Quader said.
He also alleged that the BNP had given under taking to their foreign lords that they will sale gas to them in 2001 polls.
The AL General Secretary said that his party’s government increased foreign direct investment to the country including neighboring India.
He said that BNP spreading falls rumor regarding government’s agreement in energy sector with India’s Aadani group.
This investment would make the country and its people beneficiary, he added.
The AL leader labeled the polls time caretaker government issue as a dead matter.
“The BNP is talking about a dead issue of caretaker government. It would not come back any more,” he said.
He said that the AL government has brought development in the country.
