3 held over Dhaka elevated expressway murder

Police have arrested a bus driver and two employees of Raj Classic Paribahan over the alleged murder of a passenger whose body was found on the Dhaka Elevated Expressway in Banani, with investigators saying the suspects targeted him after spotting a large amount of cash.

The arrestees were identified as driver Sohel Rana, 41, supervisor Saju alias Limon, 26, and helper Md Monir Hossain, 19.

DMP Joint Commissioner (Crime) Md Faruk Hossain disclosed the details at a press conference at the DMP Media Centre on Minto Road on Sunday.
