Dr Abdul Haque Passes away

Dr Md Abdul Haque, former medical officer at Al-Noor Hospital in Mekkah, passed away on March 7 due to acute renal failure. He was 68.
Father of Abdullah Al Zobair, Assistant Editor of The New Nation, was a distinguished philanthropist, who established several educational and religious institutions in Feni, said family sources.
He left behind his wife, five sons, eight grandchildren and a number of well-wishers to mourn his death.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held at South Banasree Jame Mosque on the holy Shab-e-Barat night. His second and third namz-e-janazas were held at Shaheen Academy School Feni and his ancestral land Izzatpur, Feni respectively on Wednesday. Later, he was buried at his family graveyard in Feni.
