ACI launches Mitsubishi Marine Engine

ACI Limited, one of the biggest conglomerates in the country has launched world-renowned Mitsubishi Marine Engines in Bangladesh.
A grand event has been organized on the occasion of the launching of the Mitsubishi Marine Engine in Bangladesh on Friday at InterContinental Dhaka in the capital, reads a press release.
Bangladesh is a riverine country with 24,000 km of waterways. Its inland waterways continue to be an important mode of transport not only in the inland movement of freight and passengers but also in the transportation of import and export items through the port of Chittagong, Payra and Mongla.
After getting 200 nautical miles of access to the maritime area from the ITLOS tribunal, Bangladesh dive into an ocean of opportunity for a Blue economy.
As the biggest delta in the world, it has got high access to maritime activity in the Bay of Bengal. To unleash the opportunity, Government also took different strategies like Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, the establishment of Matarbari deep sea port as well as declaring the marine sector as the ‘Thrust sector’ for economic development.
By understanding the potentiality of the marine sector, ACI Marine and Riverine Technologies Limited started its journey in 2019 with a vision to ‘Improve the quality of life through responsible application of technology and services in Marine and Riverine operations.’

ACI will market Mitsubishi Marine Engine with the range from 378 kW to 2000 kW which can be used in inland and ocean going vessels, dredgers, deep sea fishing vessels, electric power plant, construction, industrial machinery, pump station etc in the country.
