Couple arrested with G morphine in Barishal

The divisional Directorate of Narcotics Control has arrested a couple with G-morphine injection in a raid at Rahmatpur Bus Stand under Metropolitan Airport Police Station on Thursday.
The arrested are residents of Gagan Goli area of Barishal city . They sent jail after a case has been filed against them at the airport police station.
Enayet Hossain, assistant director of Barishal Divisional Intelligence Office of Narcotics Control Directorate confirmed the matter on Thursday (March 9) afternoon.
He said that on the basis of secret information, raids were conducted at Rahmatpur Bus Stand under Barishal Metropolitan Airport Police Station.
During the operation, Israt Jahan (24) and her husband Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan (25) were arrested with 100 ampoules of G-morphine injection after searching a bus named Golden Line going to Dhaka from Barishal.
