Homestead burned to ashes in Kapasia

It has been reported that a homestead in Gazipur’s Kapasia has been burnt down and a loss of Tk 20 lakhs has been caused. The incident took place at the residence of Mofizuddin Moral of Singhua village of Ghagtia union of the upazila around 9 pm on Thursday. At this time, a young man named Hasan was injured.
In this regard, Mofizuddin Moral said that his 2 residences, 1 grocery store, 2 CNG, documents, 1 lakh taka withdrawn from the bank two days ago, TV, fridge, furniture, etc. were damaged in the fire at around 9 pm. However, they cannot say how the fire started.
In this regard, Suman Moral said that the fire spread to the whole house within a moment. When Dak shouted, the locals came and tried to douse the fire and the Manohardi Fire Service Station of Narsingdi was informed. At the same time Kapasia Fire Service Station was informed.
All three houses were gutted before the fire service personnel brought the fire under control.
In this regard, according to Manohardi Fire Service Station of Narsingdi, it is initially believed that the fire started from an electrical short circuit. After receiving the information, one of their units immediately reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. The fire was brought under control in about an hour and a half. Furniture, grocery shops and CNG-powered autorickshaws were gutted in the fire.
