PM to inaugurate Mithamoin Cantonment today

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina is likely to inaugurate the veteran Freedom Fighter Abdul Hamid cantonment in Haor upazila Mithamoin of Kishoreganj during her visit on Tuesday (today).
PM will attend the public meeting of Awami League in the afternoon after lunch at President Abdul Hamid’s house in Kamalpur.
PM Sheikh Hasina’s visit is also in the mood of the festival in Mitamoin, Itna, Austagram, Nikli, Karimganj and Bajitpur upazilas inhabited by Haor and surrounding areas. It’s like dressing up all around. Last minute preparations are in full swing.
Heroic Freedom Fighter, local leaders and activists claim that the Prime Minister’s visit is to see the development activities of Haor with his own eyes besides the inauguration of Hamid cantonment.
The ruling Awami League (AL) leader Rezwan Ahmed Tawfiq MP said that, the groundbreaking development achieved in Haor under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, she will see her own eyes what we wanted. When she came 25 years ago, rickshaws had to be brought from the district town, now the Prime Minister’s entire fleet can come by road.
Prior to this, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina last visited Haor Upazila Mithamoin in 1998.
