Shakib joins Team’s practice

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan joined Bangladesh Cricket team’s practice at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on Monday noon. Star left-hand all-rounder Shakib took part in the practice session under supervision of Head Coach Chandika Hathurusingha on the same day. Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan returned to the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the Capital on Monday morning.
Bangladesh Cricket team started their practice session under Chandika Hathurusingha at ‘Home of Cricket’ from Thursday last. Apart from Shakib, all the members of Bangladesh ODI Cricket team joined the practice camp from the very beginning. Shakib spent his time with his family at the United States of America. Later, he returned to Dhaka and joined the Tigers’ training camp.
The left-arm all-rounder showed a superb performance in the out-going Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. He played for Fortune Barishal in the ninth edition of BPL Cricket. He scored 375 runs and bagged 10 wickets. After completing his BPL campaign, he went to Pakistan to take part in Pakistan Super League (PSL). He played for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL. He was supposed to take part in PSL until February 26. But the ace all- rounder left Pakistan on February 20 for USA. There he spent his leisure with his family.
President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon said in an interview recently that the relation between Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal was unhealthy.
Then, Captain of Bangladesh ODI Cricket team Tamim Iqbal spoke to the journalists that the relation between Shakib and he was normal and totally okay.
