Everything is normal in our team: Tamim

Captain of Bangladesh ODI Cricket team Tamim Iqbal said, ” Everything is normal in our team. I think the relation among our teammates is totally okay. There is no grouping in our team. I don’t see any gap among our teammates.”
Tamim Iqbal spoke at a press conference at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Sunday.
Earlier, President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon said in an interview ” The main problem in Bangladesh team is grouping and it is reality. I am afraid of the grouping of Bangladesh team and I knew about the grouping recently. After the World Cup, I cannot believe what I heard. If we want to see a good future of Bangladesh’s cricket, we have to come out from this problem. Every cricketer has to understand that there is no scope to make grouping in Bangladesh team.”
It is open secret that there is a distance between ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and dashing opener Tamim Iqbal. BCB boss did not straightly mention the dissatisfactory relation between Shakib and Tamim. But it is clear to all that Shakib and Tamim doesn’t speak without any necessity. The relation between the two senior cricketer is very cold. Though they did not officially disclose about the bitter relation between them, but it is open to all the members of Bangladesh Cricket team that the relation between Shakib and Tamim is not good.
Nazmul Hassan said, ” The situation of the dressing room is not normal. This is not a healthy condition of a dressing room. I confirm that there is a bitter relation between Shakib and Tamim. I’ve tried to solve the problem. I talked to them and I’ve understood that it is not an easy task to solve the problem. This is my observation.”
The relation between Shakib and Tamim is a very old matter to the surrounding area of Bangladesh cricket.
Tamim unofficially given consent that the relation between Shakib and he is not normal. But he think it will not seriously impact in the team.
Tamim said, ” I think the most important thing is that when Shakib arrives in the field wearing Bangladesh’s jersey, he tries his level best to give his best effort. On the other hand, when I appear in the pitch, I try to present my best display of cricket. When I lead my team, I consult with him and take his advice. When Shakib lead the team, I am always prepared to give him my opinion. So, there is nothing else out of this situation.”
He said, ” When we take part in the Test match, I am always with him. When he wants to consult with me, I am always ready to give him cooperation. This is a very vital thing. There is nothing out of this relation.”
