‘Sustainable dev without ethics not possible’

Speakers at a program emphasized on strict adherence to ethics in individual, family, community and state life. On the first day of a two-day long teacher training program on ethics education, the speakers said that if ethics is not established, sustainable development is not possible at any level, says a press release.
The two-day long training started on 25th February 2023 at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Tejgaon in the capital. Kazi Ali Reza, Chief Executive Officer of Ethics Education for Sustainable Development (E2SD) conducted the inaugural session.
The former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman, Executive Director of Dhaka Ahsania Mission Md. Sajedul Qayyum Dulal, District Education Officer of Dhaka Md. Abdul Majid and Bashir Uddin Adarsha School and College Principal Billal Hossain spoke in the program. Pro-VC of Ahsanullah Science and Technology University Prof Dr Mahbubur Rahman was present at that time. Professor Mohammad Ataul Karim, former Executive Vice Chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, joined online from the United States.
It is mention that E2SD, an entity of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) and NABIC organized the training program. 40 teachers from 21 schools of the capital participated in the training program.
