I hope we shall win ODI series against England: Sujon

Team Director of Bangladesh Cricket team Khaled Mahmud Sujon said, ” I hope we shall win ODI series against England.”
Sujon spoke to the newsmen at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Monday.
England Cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on February 24 to play a three-match ODI series and three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) against hosts Bangladesh Cricket team. A full-fledged England Cricket team led by Josh Buttler including Jofra Archer and Moeen Ali will tour Bangladesh to take part in the ODI series and T20I series. But former player of Bangladesh Cricket team and Director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Khaled Mahmud Sujon is optimistic that Bangladesh will win against England in the ODI series.
He said, ” England are world class team. They are better team than us according to their performance. But we are good side at home. We performed well in our previous series against some of our opponents team. We won over South Africa last year in the ODI series. We are obviously strong side in ODI format. So, I hope we can beat England in ODI series.” Bangladesh are good side in ODI format but the red-and-green outfit are not such kind of strong in T20I cricket. Bangladesh T20 Cricket team led by ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan are not so strong inT20I cricket as Bangladesh’s performance in ODI cricket.
Sojon thinks Bangladesh will also perform well in T20I series against England this time.
He said, ” We are not up to the mark in T20 format. Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket is very much significant to us. This year may be a shortage of quality bowlers in the BPL Cricket. There were absence of good pacers from abroad in this year’s BPL Cricket. But our boys batted well with courage. Our youngsters played a better brand of cricket in this year’s BPL Cricket. I hope the boys will perform well in T20I cricket against England team.”
