Top drug dealer arrested with 11 kg of ganja

RAB-1 arrested a drug dealer with 11 kg of ganja in Kapasia of Gazipur and handed it over to the police.
He was arrested in front of Hotel Nirala and Restaurant next to Tok Bazar on Dhaka-Kishorganj highway last Monday (February 13).
 Arrested- Sohail Mia (40) is the son of deceased Abdul Hannan Mia, father of Sultansi village of Habiganj police station in Habiganj district.
GMP Specialized Company Porabari Camp RAB-1 Gazipur Warrant Officer Ariful Islam confirmed this information and said that based on secret information, RAB came to know that drugs are being bought and sold around Nirala Hotel and Restaurant on Dhaka-Kishoreganj highway under Kapasia police station. Based on such news, RAB raided the area and arrested the drug dealer. Raab recovered 11 kg of ganja and a mobile phone in eleven packets wrapped in polythene in a blue traveling bag from the drug dealer and six hundred taka in cash. During the initial interrogation, the arrested person admitted that he has been dealing in drugs in the area for a long time. Also said to be involved in drug buying and selling in different parts of the district.
