Robbery in Baraigram Land Office

A theft was took place place at Nagar Union Land Office Dhanaidah of Baraigram Upazila of Natore. By breaking the lock, miscreants entered into the office building and stole documents and valuable things. This incident was happened on last Saturday night. Locals including Office Assistant Abdur Rahman said that miscreants entered into the boundary area of the office by cutting the barbed wire on the boundary wall. Then they broke the lock and entered into the office and ransacked the cupboards, tables and papers stored in 3 rooms.
Miscreants stole 2 laptops worth about 90 thousand taka, 2 CC cameras of 10 thousand taka, monitors of 15 thousand taka, devices of 25 thousand taka, internet router of 6 thousand taka, cash 5 thousand taka and necessary documents. The value of the stolen goods is about Tk 1 lakh 51 thousand. Office assistant Abdur Rahman also said, “I will file a complaint on behalf of the office. Preparations are underway.”
