Abducted school girl rescued, abductor arrested in Gournadi

Three days after being abducted in Gournadi upazila of Barishal district, the police rescued the kidnapped sixth-grader girl (13).
At that time, the kidnapper, Biplob Hossain (19), son of Alamgir Sardar, was also arrested from Miarchar village of Sharikal Union of the upazila on Monday afternoon.
Investigating officer of the case Sub Inspector (SI) Amitabh Bishwas of Sharikal police investigation center under Gournadi police station said, arrested van driver Biplob Hossain often stalking the sixth grader girl student on her way to school with love offerings.
On February 10, the victim left home for going to school at around 9:30 am . when she reached near Suren Shikder Hut at South Hosnabad village of the upazila, 2/3 youths led by Biplob Hossain, the rickshaw van puller, blocked the way of the girl.
The miscreants forcibly picked up the girl on an battery operated easy-bike.
In this regard, mother of the kidnapped victim filed a case of abduction with Gournadi police station on Monday around 10:30 am.
