10 BNP men injured in clashes with Cop in Kuliarchar

At least 10 BNP activists were injured in clashes reportedly with the police in Kuliarchar upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday afternoon. Police fired blank bullets and tear shells to control the situation.
The incident took place in the Agarpur bus stand as BNP held anti – government road marches at all union Parishads across the country in a 10- point including next general election under a non -,party caretaker government.
The injured are – Chhatra Dal Vice-President of Ramdi Union Abu Sayem, office secretary Ashiqur Rahman Nayan, Chhatra Dal leader Sajan Miah, Kanan Miah, Lutfar Rahman, Khokon Miah, Russell Miah, Tanveer, Khokon Miah.
In this incident, upazila Chhatra Dal joint convener Imran, Chhatra Dal leader Vijay Miah and five people were arrested.
The Officer -in Charge( OC) in Kuliarchar Golam Mostafa confirmed the matter and the situation in the area is now under control.
