Bayer delegation meets Agri-Minister

A delegation of Bayer led by Brian Naber, Head of Crop Science Commercial Operations – Asia Pacific, visited the office of Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque on Thursday.
In the meeting, they discussed how Bayer aims to sustainably strengthen the agriculture industry in Bangladesh and is helping provide safe food for the world while preserving the planet.
Bayer Crop Science Limited, Bangladesh is a joint venture of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and Bayer AG, a leading life science company headquartered in Germany, with a history of more than 150-years and competencies in agriculture and health care.
Over the last four decades – Bayer has been working closely with farmers and key stakeholders to improve the agricultural productivity and livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Bangladesh.
Bayer is not just a key supplier of high-quality crop protection products, but also a pioneer in hybrid rice seeds that have played a vital role in uplifting agriculture and food production in the country.
