RKS Foundation inaugurates school in Alikadam remote hills

Rezaul Karim Sikdar Foundation’s Tampram Pau School (School of Hill Flowers) has been inaugurated in the remote hilly area of Alikadam, Bandarban.The executive director of the foundation Jahedul Karim Bappi and local Dangli Para Sardar Kaikon Karbari inaugurated the school yesterday morning as the chief guest. Under the direction of Project Director Kazi Golam Mustafa and presided over by Head Teacher Karawe, the main speaker was local women member Ruito Mro.Special guests were expatriate businessman Nazim Uddin, Dakshin Mro, Khingwai Mro, office secretary Md. Saiful, Publicity Secretary Ziaul Haque, Education Project Director Osman Pervez Sohag along with local leaders.
The chief guest of the meeting Jahedul Karim Sikdar said that there is no school within 20 kilometers of this remote hill. I feel proud to have made our foundation school. These neglected and underprivileged children have the right to educated.
We want them to be well educated and serve this hilly region.
Sardar Kaikon Karbari said, we are very happy. Rezaul Karim Sikder Foundation will build a school in this remote area, we local people did not imagine.Besides , RKSF provides books, notebooks, pens, pencils, boards, dusters etc. In the event, sports competition and prizes were distributed among the winners.
