Anti-drug meet inside District Jail in Netrakona

A discussion meeting against “drug abuse and drug addiction” was held at Netrakona District Jail Thursday.
Netrakona District Jail authority and District Narcotics Control Department jointly organized the meeting to create awareness about the bad impact of drug abuse in the human body among the prisoners of the jail.
DC and District Magistrate Netrakona Anjana Khan Mojlish addressed the meeting as chief guest while Superintendent of Netrakona District Jail Mohammad Anwaruzzaman was in the chair.
The meeting was addressed, among others by Mayor of Netrakona Municipality and valiant freedom fighter Nazrul Islam Khan, former commander of District Muktizoddha Sangsad Nurul Amin and Assistant Director of District Narcotics Department Ali Haider Rasel.
The chief guest DC Anjana Khan Mojlish in her speech urged upon the prisoners especially the prisoners, who were arrested with drug related cases, to keep them away from drug addiction and say “no” to the dug abuse, drug addiction and drug trading.
