Fugitive accused of murder case surrenders voluntarily

Arif, the mugger caught voluntarily by the police, is accused in the murder case, said Additional Commissioner of Police AKM Hafiz Akhtar.
He told it in a press conference at the media center of DMP on Sunday (January 29).
Hafiz Akhtar said that Arif called his mother over mobile phone after being arrested in another case.
At that time, Arif told his mother, I am not arrested in the original case (murder); just arrested in a previous case (mugging). This is what the investigation officer’s suspect arisen over the matter. When the accused remanded, snakes come out to dig earthworms.
After the remand, Arif admitted the fact and accepted the responsibility of killing a person named Falu Mia.
Hafiz Akhter said that Arif, a member of Jatrabari’s band of robbers, was involved not only in the snatching but also in the murder. To escape the murder case, the criminal himself was caught by the police.
The trick did not work and he is now shown arrested in the murder case filed with Jatrabari Police Station on January 23.
Earlier, Falu Mia, a garment worker of Narayanganj, came to Dhaka from Gaibandha at 5 am in the morning on January 22. He left for the destination without waiting at the bus stand. Meanwhile, Arif and his accomplice Sohel started walking in front of Golapbagh Dhalpur Community Center. As soon as Falu Mia reached there, they attacked him. When he tried to resist, the miscreants fled after killing him.
The day after this incident, the police arrested Arif in a robbery case. However, the mystery of Falu’s murder has not yet been revealed. After his arrest, Arif was identified on the basis of his phone conversation. The police officer said that the efforts are on to arrest Arif’s associate Sohail.
