Several shops gutted in city’s Gandaria fire

Several shops were gutted in midnight fire at the capital’s Gandaria on early Sunday.
The shops besides the pond of the area near Gandaria kitchen market were totally burned after fire broken out nearly 3:30 am.
On information, several fire services team went and douse the fire at the early Sunday, the local people said.
The reason of the fire break out is yet to be identified.
The traders, harmed with the fire said there were some clothing shops, plastic items and house appliances shops were being burned in the fire.
The shop owners said that at least seven shops have been totally ruined during the fire.
They claimed that the incident caused damage of at least one lakh taka for every shop owners.
They said that most of the shop owners are small businessman and they have fallen in street loosing the lone way of earning money to meet end of their families.
The local people and the looser traders asked the government to help them so that they could start their business once again.
