Mother killed in Mitamoion haor

An elderly mother was killed by her addicted son in Mithamain haor upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday.
 A tragic incident of murder took place in Barahati village of Mithamain haor upazila.
The victim was identified as Manmohini Das (70), wife of Lal Mohan Das.
Police have arrested killer’s son named Indrajit Das (33).
Locals said, Manmohan Das asked his mother for food. Enraged at the delay in giving the food, Indrajit hit his mother. Manmohini Das on the head with a piece of wood. She died on the spot.
 The Officer in Charge (OC) in Mitamoion Police Station Kalindra Nath Goldar said that On information Police rushed to spot and dead body recovered.

Mentally unstable girl found

A 15 years -old mentally unstable girl was rescued and handed over to her family by District Police in Hossionpur upazila of Kishoreganj on Sunday .
The Officer in Charge( OC) in Hossionpur, Asaduzzaman Titu confirmed this information.
 OC also said that around 7:30 pm on Saturday, a mentally unstable girl was walking abnormally on the road adjacent to Hossainpur Upazila Parishad. Sub Inspector (SI) Mujibur Rahman on emergency duty at that time. With the help of police and locals crowd rescued the girl and admitted her to Hossainpur Upazila Health Complex.
According to the name and address given by the girl during interrogation, the police searched around Gafargaon College in neighboring Mymensingh and did not find the guardian. Later, with the help of various information technologies including his photo, the correct identity was found in a village of the upazila. She is a 9th class student of a madrassa in Pagla police station area of Mymensingh.
