Cute Div 1 Men’s Handball to begin on Jan 29

The Cute First Division Men’s Handball League will begin at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium (SCMMANHS) on January 29.
A total of six teams will compete in the single league basis handball meet. The participating teams are: Old Ideal Club, Victoria Sporting Club, Star Sports, Monsur Sporting Club, Purbachal Parishad and Satirtha Club.
The Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) will organise the handball competition while Mousumi Industries Limited will sponsor the meet.
Marking the upcoming handball league, a press conference was held at the conference room of SCMMANHS on Thursday.
General Secretary of the BHF Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Chairman of the Cute First Division Men’s Handball League Committee Muzibul Hoque Ripon and Secretary of the League Committee SM Khalequzzaman Shawpan spoke at the press conference.
The budget of the handball competition has been estimated at Taka four lakh and seventy thousand, while the sponsor organisation has given Taka two lakh to BHF and the BHF will bear the rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
