Maternal death due to wrong treatment in Kishoreganj

A pregnant woman named Rupali Khatun (25) died due to wrong treatment during cesarean operation at a private clinic in Kishoreganj early Monday.
The incident took place at Al-Hera Digital Diagnostic Center and Hospital in Jashodal area of Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila.
According to the police, Rupali, the wife of Pauline Mia, a Saudi Arabian expatriate, was admitted to the Al-Hera Digital Diagnostic Center and Hospital on Sunday night in Barakhal village of Kishoreganj Sadar. At that time Dr. Akhtar Nahar takes Jyoti Rupali to the operation theater to perform a cesarean section. After some time a son was born to her.
The locals and Relatives alleged that Rupali was not being taken out of the operation theater (OT) even after a long time of delivery.
Later, Sunday night!, the officials of the diagnostic center took him out of the OT in an unconscious state and left for Mymensingh Medical College Hospital without informing his relatives. However, on the way to Mymensingh, Rupali died. The officials of the hospital ran away immediately after this incident.
The OC (Investigation) in Kishoreganj Model Police Station , Mukhlesur Rahman said that no one in charge of the hospital was found.
