‘Bay Terminal to start operations in 2025’

Chattogram Port will construct a multipurpose terminal at the Bay Terminal and can start operations in 2025 or early 2026.
This was said by State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury in the speech of the chief guest at the opening ceremony of ship berthing at the CCT jetty of the port recently.

The NCT did not work for four years after its creation. Chittagong Port is expected to enter the four million container club. PCT is ready, the sooner the better.
