Bishu Sikdar, lyricist of James’s songs, dies

Noted lyricist Bishu Sikdar, who penned many songs of the famous musician James, died on Saturday. Bishu Sikdar garnered much praise and appreciation as a lyricist for the songs of ‘Nagar Baul.’
Last number of singer James, ‘I Love You’ was also last song written by Bishu. On top of that the lyricist earlier wrote songs like ‘Jodi Ei Shite Ami More Jai,’ ‘Ami Tomaderi Lok,’ ‘Didimoni,’ ‘Tufan,”Bijli,’ for James.
