Building a central library
Haimchar is one of the eight marginal upazilas of Chandpur district. In terms of education, it lags behind the other upazilas. More than half of the land has been lost due to the erosion of the Meghna River. As a result, the river splits the upazila in half.
The majority populations stay on the eastern side of the river, but some dwell in the highland pastures. There are currently eight kindergarten schools, 22 high schools, 13 madrasas, and two universities in both public and private institutions.
The majority of the locals are still uneducated. To boost their interest in school, significant action must be made. However, the entire upazila is devoid of any public or private libraries where readers of all ages young and old can study. As a result, we urge the authority to build a central library in Haimchar as soon as possible.

News with misleading headlines
There are many online news portals that often publish news with misleading headlines which is really embarrassing and frustrating. It creates awkward situation which leads the readers to evaluate the fact behind the news.
We expect those portals will present beautiful and informative news, and therefore, would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities in this regard. Because due to publishing news with misleading headlines, dignity of other media is being tarnished.
Moreover, it is needed to issue a notice urging people to refrain from spreading news under such misleading headlines through social media.

Uncontrolled commodity price
Amid corona pandemic, prices of essential commodities like onion, rice, pulses, oil etc. have been increased creating an artificial crisis in the market. Previously stocked products are also sold at higher prices. Low quality products have been also sold at high prices saying shortage of products in the market. Consequently, middle class and lower class people suffer the most.
However, making such unethical extra profit is not new in Bangladesh. But it is possible to control the price of goods in the local market if the market syndication can be eliminated. The government should take stern action against the traders involved in illegal manipulation.
