Illegal kilns fined in Kishoreganj

The District Administration in Kishoreganj including Department of Environment (DoF)j have conducted drives against illegal bricks kilns on Monday.
 M/S. Shimul Traders (MST) brick kilns was fined Tk. 1 lakh for polluting the environment at Sultanpur area in Kishoreganj Sadar.
The operation led by Senior Assistant Commissioner & Executive Magistrate Babul Chandra Sutradhar.
The Department of Environment (FoF) also demolished a brick kiln named MST Brick Kiln and ordered it to stop its activities in the residential and Education Institute area, Rubayeh Tahareem Shorab of Senior Chemist of DoE in Kishoreganj Office told this to the New Nation.
The senior Executive Magistrate Babul Chandra Sutradhar said, Administration conducted as part of the campaign against environmental pollution and to promote environmental protection activities, he added.
District Police and fire service officials assisted the drives.
