Dreamliner’s several seat handles broken

Several seat handles of Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner have been broken. Another LCD monitor in front of the seat has been pulled out.
Meanwhile, no body has been identified for involving behind the heinous act.
The Biman authorities believe that several passengers are behind this.
Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner operates on Dhaka to Toronto route.
It has a pause at Istanbul, Turkey for one hour and 15 minutes midway for taking fuel. About 300 people are on the flight in this journey of about 21 hours, Biman officials said.
This week’s incident of breaking the several seats’ handles and removing the screen monitor created anxiety among the officials.
The matter has been caught in sight during a routine check-up in Toronto. Several seats of the aircraft were found to be in sorry condition. The handles on both sides of some seats were broken.
Also, the LED monitor of seat number 41C was uprooted and broken, garbage, used forks and spoons, empty water bottles were left on the floor there. Besides, with the broken handles somehow were being taped up. Biman is yet to know who were carried out these misdeeds, whether it was done on purpose or not. Managing Director (MD) of Biman Shafiul Azim told journalists that they have given instructions to identify the person or persons involved behind the crimes.
“If it occurred in Canadian part or Bangladesh side, we will demand reparation from both sides,” he said.
“It has become a habit of passengers to do anything while sitting in the plane. The Dreamliner is one of the best aircraft in Biman’s fleet. We have directed to identify the culprit to produce him or them before the justice,” he said.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines currently has a total of 21 aircraft in its fleet. The Dreamliner that was damaged has a total of 298 seats. It can fly about 14 thousand kilometers continuously.
