Condolence meet on Adv Khandaker Mahbub held in Sylhet

A condolence meeting on veteran lawyer and BNP’s Vice-Chairman Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain was held at Sylhet Court Jame Mosque on Tuesday.
President of Islami Okkiya Jote Sylhet district Mufti Abdul Karim Hakkani presided over the condolence meeting, organised by Islami Okya Jote Sylhet district.
Chairman of Islami Okkiya Jote and President of Nezame Islam Party Advocate Mawlana Abdru Rakib addressed the meeting as a chief guest and Explained the Glorious life history of great leader Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain.
The meeting was addressed among others by Mawlana Muzammel Haque, Ilias bin Rayasod, Mawlana Juber Ansari, Advocate Ahmed Obydur Rahaman, Advocate Moynul Haque, Advocate Abdullah, Md, Abdul Kuddus, Rofiquzzaman, Jamil Hossain and others Olamas and Advocates.
Special prayer conducted by Vice Chairman of Islami Okya Jote Sylhet district and Principal of Jamea Zakaria Sylhet Mawlana Muzammel Haque.
Meanwhile, Khandaker Mahbub Hossain died at Evercare Hospital Saturday night.
He was born on March 20 in 1938. His ancestral home is in Bamana upazila of Barguna district. He was admitted as an advocate on January 31 in 1967.
Khandaker Mahbub Hossain joined BNP in 2008. From 2009 to 2016, he was an adviser to the BNP Chairperson. In 2016, he got the post of vice chairman in the central executive committee of BNP.
