BCG seized 33,800 pieces of yaba from Teknaf

Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) seized 33,800 pieces of yaba during an operation in Teknaf on Sunday.
Coast Guard at Headquarters’ media officer Lt. Commander Abdur Rahman confirm this information to the media.
He said, BCG members of Teknaf station has chased a person after observing his suspicious movement at Sabrang zero point area at night around 2.40.  
The person fled after throwing his handbag into nearby forest. Then the BCG members grabbed the bag and found 33,800 pieces of yaba inside it.
The BCG has handed over the yabas to Teknaf Model Police Station for taking farther legal actions.
