Towhid Hridoy out of BPL for two weeks

In-form batter Towhid Hridoy of Sylhet Strikers has been ruled out for two weeks for his finger injury. The Surgeon sewed eight stitches in his injured finger. The media department of Sylhet Strikers confirmed this matter on Wednesday.
Team Management of Syhet Strikers issued a press release on Wednesday. In that message they said, ” The Surgeon initially bandaged his finger. But later, his finger needed stitch and the physician stitched his finger. The physician advised him to take rest at least two weeks.”
Towhid Hridoy got injury during the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket match between Sylhet Strikers and Dhaka Dominators at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday. So, Towhid Hridoy cannot not take part in the matches of BPL Cricket at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Even he is uncertain in next Dhaka phase of BPL Cricket. He will be available in BPL Cricket matches at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from January 23.
It may be mentioned that Towhid Hridoy scored three half-centuries playing four matches for Sylhet Strikers in the ongoing BPL Cricket. So, his absence will be crucial matter for league leaders Sylhet Strikers.
