GIB achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification

Global Islami Bank (GIB) achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS) certificate related to software applications and ICT system integration services.
With this certification, Global Islami Bank has assessed and complied with the latest version of SOA (Statement of Applicability) and has attained an international standard of banking IT security, reads a press release.
Syed Habib Hasnat, managing director of the bank received the certificate from Abdul Kader, director of United Certification Services Limited (UNICERT).
