Two drug dealers held with 12 kg hemp

At least two alleged drug peddlers were held by police from Ashtagram along with 12 kg of cannabis in Austagram haor upazila of Kishoreganj on Monday evening.
The arrested men are Jahangir Alam (28) , son of kalachan Pramanik and Md. Sajeeb (20 (, son of Shikder , they are Nagarpur upazila of Tangail.
In a tip-off, a team of Police conducted a raid at the intersection of three roads in East Ashtagram Parashar of haor upazila and arrested them along with hemp red -handed, Police sourcs said.
Ashtagram, Police Station Officer in Charge (OC) Mohammad Murshed Zaman BPM confirmed the matter and said, Jahangir Alam and Md. Both Sajeev are drug dealers.
They have been buying and selling drugs in different areas for a long time.
A case was field in this connection with Australian Police Station. They sent to Kishorganj district jail.
